A 10-Year-Old Kid Just Outed COVID Mask Tyrants As Total Hypocrites

1

The same day Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted that his wearing a mask after being fully vaccinated was political theater, a video of a 10-year-old addressing his local school board made its rounds on Twitter, showing that even fourth graders are seeing past the health and safety facades of petty authoritarians.

The boy, identified as John, was quite a relatable little fella. His rant about teachers pulling down their masks to holler commands at students to pull up their masks brings to mind the endless examples of politicians and bureaucrats who violated their own rules — ordering people not to gather before attending dinner with fellow elites at a ritzy French restaurant, demanding that people don’t travel before catching their own flights, and commanding Americans to wear face coverings while going maskless themselves, just to name a few.

“This happens a lot,” the child said of the teachers’ double-standard. “And it seems unfair teachers take their masks off while they yell at us kids and that we need to pull ours up. I asked my mom if there is a word for this, and she said there is: hypocrisy.”

The same hypocrisy that a 10-year-old can identify in his educators dominates our American ruling class, and the kid was right: “This happens a lot.” Now as a gust of science threatens to topple the ruling class’s house of cards that Fauci, candidate and now-President Joe Biden, their media lapdogs, and other elitists have occupied for more than a year, they’re scrambling to prop up the walls.

The Fauci that flip-flopped on masks, violated his own diktats when he thought nobody was looking, came up with different rules for worshippers and protesters, and became the vaccine hypocrite-in-chief, is the same one who now admits outright that he’s been shifting the goalposts on herd immunity. First, he said 60 to 70 percent of Americans needed to be vaccinated to achieve herd immunity. Then, suddenly, it was 70 to 75. Now his figure is north of 80 percent.

“When polls said only about half of all Americans would take a vaccine, I was saying herd immunity would take 70 to 75 percent,” Fauci told the New York Times in a phone interview. “Then, when newer surveys said 60 percent or more would take it, I thought, ‘I can nudge this up a bit,’ so I went to 80, 85.”

Five percent here and a little leeway there, just a “nudge” in the direction of a preferred outcome, and it all adds up to rules for thee but not for me. The Fauci method carries the same flavor as John’s petty teachers. As it has since the beginning of the pandemic, the coronavirus is exposing little tyrants everywhere.

“A few weeks ago I ran into my teacher outside of school,” the 10-year-old continued his speech. “She didn’t even recognize me because she’s never seen my face before. Well, I knew it was her because she sits at her desk a lot without a mask on.”

In the world of rulers and subjects, Fauci and John’s teacher are one and the same. While they might not see their subordinates or recognize our grievances, we see them full-faced for exactly who they are: hypocrites.
